As a Charter Member of the Telaric Alliance, Greg was recruited for his experience and the synergy he brings to the marriage of traditional marketing and hi-tech, Internet-based techniques. Greg also brings a naturally curious mind and a desire to discover and implement innovative solutions to any situation. He has a breadth of experience in different markets that allows him to create unique, effective solutions to many business problems.

While primarily involved in the past, with either owning and operating a small business or sales and marketing efforts for mid to large-sized companies, Greg has a passion for the whole business process. He excels in a challenging environment and his technical skills help him bring to fruition the ideas that drive him.

A closet computer geek and techno junkie, veteran of the automotive industry, model builder and born tinkerer, Greg has broad technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms.

Prior to joining the Telaric Alliance, Greg spent the last 4 years as President of GT Design, a Milwaukee website development company. His innovative Internet marketing techniques brought the power of the web and the strength of traditional marketing together in cohesive designs at over 30 small to mid-sized businesses.

Functional Expertise:

  • Sales management experience in the automotive aftermarket, from wholesale auto parts to appearance and performance accessories, representing companies like Wurth, RayBestos, Dana and Parts plus.
  • Sale management experience in the bicycle and recreation markets, representing companies like Shimano, Kryptonite, Control Tech and various high end, niche Mountain Bike component manufacturers.
  • Studio, store and employee management experience in the photography industry.

Started several small businesses including:

  • Autopia - an automotive aftermarket company, serving Chevrolet, Ford and Chrysler dealers as well as individual customers. Products included auto alarms, appearance enhancement packages and performance accessories.
  • Photosmith - a studio specializing in product photography as well as track photography at auto racing venues.
  • TET Sales - a standalone, online marketing arm of TET Cycles, a manufacturer of custom fit, high-end bicycle frames. Founded in 1999, TET Sales is still going strong today selling 30 to 50 custom frames per year in a highly competitive market.
  • GAS Works Design - founded in 1997, GAS Works Design began as an outlet for Greg's website design and Internet marketing ideas, it evolved into GT Design with the addition of a partner. The GAS Works name lives on as the producer of niche videos for the Radio Control Airplane market.
  • GT Design - founded in 1999, this website and graphic design company worked with over 30 clients on an ongoing basis producing business identities, websites, print collateral and marketing plans for small businesses. In August 2002 the founding partners split and Greg became a Telaric Alliance Member, carrying his GT Design philosophy to new levels.

Since joining the Telaric Alliance, Greg has been responsible Internet marketing strategies for a variety of companies, ranging from medical devices and software to personal safety, from local artists to multi-million dollar spas and cosmetology schools. Greg's ability to bring Internet based marketing techniques to a variety of disparate businesses has give him the experience to make the right choices for the specific market.

Greg attended West Valley Community College in Saratoga, California and the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee where he studied Architecture. Greg's quest for knowledge has him constantly acquiring new skills and talent from sales training and marketing seminars to software, IT and web development classes, Greg is a sponge for new information and strives to find the right fit for far reaching technology.

Outside of helping businesses maximize their marketing effort, Greg is currently active in a variety of roles:

  • Copublisher and Editor of online Slope Trash Magazine
  • Board Member at large and webmaster for the American Slope Racing Organization

  • Webmaster for the Badger Bimmers, the Wisconsin chapter of the BMW CCA

At various times Greg is also an independent film maker, photographer, radio controlled sailplane enthusiast, auto racing competitor and mountain bike weekend warrior.

His better half, Wendy, indulges his many hobbies, which include R/C soaring, computer tinkering, country drives and spending time with his daughter Sydney.
